Principal photography has finally been completed this week for the new installment of the Star Wars franchise. Disney has also confirmed that the new title would be, Star Wars VII – The Force Awakens along with its release date, December 18, 2015.

The Force Awakens, directed by JJ Abrams, is said to be taking place 30 years after the Battle of Endor, or as many of you know it, the latest movie in the series, Star Wars VI- Return of The Jedi. Beyond this small morsel of a time frame, the internet is buzzing with theories on the roles of series newcomers, Andy Serkis and Gwendoline Christie. Many fans wonder who they will be and what to expect of the story.

So far what is known is that some very familiar faces are making an appearance, such as Han Solo (Harrison Ford), Princess Leia Organa Solo (Carrie Fisher) and Jedi Master Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill). All are slated to be in the newest film. Anything beyond this is all speculation as the film still needs to go through a lengthy post-production and during this time, there could be leaks on what Disney has planned for this film.
